ABOUT THE BUILDING
From the real estate log of 1910, the lot was sold to a Ms. Adeline Fink who erected the 6-story building for the purpose of "manufacturing woodware". In a later NYTimes classified (from 1946), there is an ad placed for help in Ms. Adeline's "Book Match Factory" where woodworking was being done.
